Nikesh worked closely with SoftBank founder Masayoshi Son on the the globalization and transformation on the group as well as implement a sustainable long-term strategy for SoftBank’s investments. He played an instrumental role in monetizing Softbank’s stakes in Alibaba and Supercell, which created over $17 billion of value to Softbank.
At Google, Nikesh held several management positions including Chief Business Officer, leading Google’s rapidly growing and extremely successful commercialization. Prior to Google, Nikesh was the CMO of T-Mobile. Nikesh has had an illustrious career spanning some of the most important technology and financial companies in the world.
Nikesh holds an MS degree from Boston College and an MBA from Northeastern University, both of which were awarded with distinction. He holds the CFA designation. In 1989, he graduated from the Institute of Technology in Varanasi, India with a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
