The Pioneer Summit’s North Star is the steadfast belief in the magic that occurs when game-changing startups collaborate with the global corporations and institutions that possess the scale to drive outsized impact. We believe in the power of convening transformative entrepreneurs, leading business executives and policymakers around the issues that shape society and culture.
For some organizations, like AT&T, this belief is embedded in their DNA. AT&T launched the Aspire Accelerator in 2015 with the goal of enhancing education by supporting and mentoring the most promising and innovative startups in EdTech, as part of their $350 million commitment to helping students succeed in school and beyond. The accelerator’s mission is to support innovations that can help every student achieve a bright, successful future—exponentially and at scale.
AT&T is working with six innovative EdTech startups for the 2016 AT&T Aspire Accelerator class. The participating organizations are from around the country. They have unique stories and diverse leadership, with women founders leading over half of the companies.
Those of you attending the Pioneer Summit will have plenty of opportunities to meet the six Aspire Accelerator startups and the AT&T Aspire team. You can visit them at the AT&T EdTech Impact Lounge in the Building the Future Area and keep your eye on your inbox for an invite to the AT&T Aspire Reception at the Pioneer Summit on September 15th!
